Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO marks the return of one of the most renowned 3D fighting game series in the Dragon Ball universe. The project is being developed by Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco.
This is the fourth main installment of Budokai Tenkaichi, which was released at the end of last year and received high praise for its dynamic gameplay, vast character selection, and accurate anime atmosphere.
Rumors about a version for Switch 2 circulated online and were confirmed a month ago: Bandai Namco announced that the game will be released on both the new Nintendo console and the first Switch. The release date is set for November 14, 2025. To fuel interest, the developers have shown a fresh trailer showcasing key mechanics and content. This will allow newcomers and veterans to better prepare for battles.
Confirmation of the Nintendo version came after a series of leaks. The first rumors surfaced in March, and in April, the official game classification appeared online, which increased attention to the release.
