Work on improving PIONER is gradually continuing.
Recently, the authors of the Russian MMO-shooter PIONER presented a new gameplay teaser. Then some gamers criticized it - they didn't like the "impact from shooting" and they expressed the opinion that the recoil should be improved.
The developers reacted to the criticism and explained that they were showing an outdated version:
«Remember the gun from the previous video? Many people didn't like it then, but don't worry, comrades - by the time the video was released, the barrel had already been fixed.
We are demonstrating an update from the end of July, as part of which we carried out a large-scale improvement of part of the arsenal. In the recording, you may notice improved recoil, sight position and sound effects of shots. The same improvements were received by 11 more guns».
