An enthusiast managed to revive the virtual world of Dark Ages.

The author of the YouTube channel Bind recently released a video about his journey: he spent 30 days in a "dead MMO."

His attention was drawn to the game Dark Ages — a Nexon project, now known to many gamers for The First Descendant. He decided to purchase a subscription and recorded his adventures in the virtual world. The resulting documentary has garnered over 3 million views.

Bind wanted to try to "revive" Dark Ages and eventually he succeeded: some veteran users returned to the game, and newcomers also joined. The average number of active users has grown to four to five hundred (the game is 26 years old and requires a subscription).
