It became known over the weekend that Helldivers 2 on Xbox Series X/S showed excellent sales. Now new confirmations have appeared.
The project demonstrates a high level of player interest on Microsoft consoles. The Trueachievements portal, which publishes ratings of the most popular games in the Xbox ecosystem, has released fresh data. In the list of projects that users spent the most time on in recent days, Helldivers 2 took a strong position, ahead of such free-to-play hits as Marvel Rivals and Rocket League. The game also competes with new Xbox Game Pass releases, including Gears of War: Reloaded.
The game is already being called a major hit on Xbox. A similar start in the Trueachievements rankings was last seen with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which became the leader in the European market in the summer according to GSD.
According to preliminary estimates, Helldivers 2 on Xbox sold more than 600,000 copies in just the first two days of release. This is a signal for PlayStation Studios - it is worth releasing more games from PS5 on Xbox Series X/S.
