Developers assure that the Switch 2 version is comparable to the editions on PS5 and Xbox Series X. EA Sports representative Andreas Villsdorf noted the high performance of the console and emphasized that the game feels almost the same as on older platforms.
But the first tests raise doubts. Journalists and gamers who have tried the beta version report many bugs and an unstable frame rate. The game is limited to 30 fps, and the graphics are noticeably inferior to the PlayStation 5 version.
Another problem is the lack of crossplay, which closes the possibility of playing together with users of other devices.
Previously, the series on Switch was released in truncated versions, now EA promises a full-fledged version. But testers note: even with the improved "hardware" of Switch 2, the project does not reveal the full potential of the console.
The release of EA Sports FC 26 on Switch 2 is scheduled for September 26, 2025.
