Pac-Man World 2 is a popular game with an iconic hero who turns 45 in 2025. In anticipation of the release, Bandai Namco showed what the updated version looks like.
On September 26, Pac-Man World 2 Re-PAC will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. This is a remake of the classic platformer, which retains the atmosphere of the original, but complements it with improved graphics, new mechanics, additional levels and voice acting for all key characters.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a fresh trailer showcasing gameplay and innovations. In Re-PAC, the hero received new skills, including Super Butt Bounce, Ice Skating and Pac-Marine. The old techniques have also been improved - Flip Kick and Snorkeling.
The project is designed for veterans of the series and newcomers. For the latter, Fairy Mode has been added, making the game more accessible. Boss battles have been redesigned, and new enemies have appeared.
