Evaluating the Gameplay of the Updated Surviving Mars. New Mechanics and Improved Graphics
The authors of Surviving Mars presented the first gameplay demonstration of the remastered version of the famous strategy game.
Surviving Mars: Relaunched is being prepared for release and has already received the first gameplay demonstration videos. The publisher called it an expanded re-release of the 2018 original.
Surviving Mars: Relaunched implies:
- updated interface with many quality improvements;
- reworked game mechanics;
- improved graphics;
- all previously released add-ons.
The creators note that they are not yet ready to announce the release date on consoles and PC. It seems that the release should not be expected earlier than the first half of 2026. It is only confirmed that the game is fully compatible with Steam Deck.
The project will receive not only visual upgrades, but also all the content released during the years of support. For those who missed the original, this will be a chance to get acquainted with a notable city-building strategy in a modern form.
