In response to a fan's question about Tekken characters who will never return, Harada stated that his persona will no longer appear in the game.
The statement was made humorously, but he previously appeared in Tekken and other projects he worked on, becoming one of the few developers to be featured in their own games.
Harada also voiced Marshall Law from the original Tekken to Tekken 7, including all of the character's battle cries, except for Street Fighter X Tekken. Harada also voiced Marshall's son, Forrest Law, in Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, and Tekken Advance. Besides the Law family, Harada was the first voice of Yoshimitsu until Tekken Tag Tournament and the female ninja Kunimitsu in the original Tekken. In newer installments, recordings of his battle cries are reused, but due to Harada's age, he can no longer work on voice acting.
