A new themed season with a Halloween atmosphere has started in PUBG Mobile. The 4.0 "Spooky Night" update added a mode with paranormal elements, new transport, characters, and mechanics to the game.
Players can equip a new companion — a cute spirit that accompanies them across the map and is endowed with special abilities: heals, accelerates, repairs armor, or turns into a flying ball or shield. Upon death, the player's character turns into a mischievous ghost who can interfere with enemies or help allies. Energy in this state gradually decreases, but if rescued by allies, you can return to life.
In parallel with the update, a collaboration with the anime "Kaiju No. 8" has started. Skins of the heroes Kafka Hibino, Mina Ashiro, and Sosiro Hoshino have appeared in the game, as well as the ability to temporarily transform into a giant kaiju with themed weapons.
In addition, the developers have updated a number of classic mechanics: added mortars, improved weapon recoil, animations, graphics, and vehicle physics. Players can also expect new rewards and events as part of the season.
