A year later, the head of VK Play still believes that "Smuta" is a celebration of Russian game development" — he explained his vision
Some highly appreciate the importance of the sensational game.
Last year, the head of VK Play, Alexander Mikheev, speaking about the action RPG "Smuta," stated that he considers it "a celebration of Russian game development."
Recently, he was asked: "a year later, do you agree that this phrase was correct"?.
He did not renounce his words and explained his vision:
"Projects of this scale must happen. They will be successful, they will be unsuccessful — this is game development. And the amount of money allocated to a particular game is not equal to success — this has already been proven by hundreds of closed projects.
But the very fact that the developers were ready to fit into such tight deadlines....and for me [the celebration is also] in the fact that after that, the teams that we were waiting for began to come to the competitions to make good, high-quality games."
