It recently became known that Valve registered the Steam Frame trademark. Some suggested that this might be related to the VR direction.
Soon, the data miner SadlyItsDadley spoke out:
«Valve now has custom/ready-made drivers for the Steam Link VR USB Dongle. This will greatly simplify connecting the HMD [VR device] to your Windows/Linux PC and provide a direct wireless connection. This is Wi-Fi 6E, which supports a frequency of 6 GHz».
SadlyItsDadley also said that "Valve Roy controllers are no longer marked as \"prototypes/EV1\" in the drivers."
He published the "final render" of these devices; showed how the controllers might look in SteamVR.
