Recently, the authors of the roguelike Cult of the Lamb talked about the Woolhaven expansion. According to them, it will be comparable in scale to the original game.
How did this happen? The creators explained that they "flew too close to the sun," and the developers always strive to "go all out, whether it's a wedding, a concert, or 3 large-scale free content updates." They also noted that the price of Woolhaven will be "reasonable."
The Woolhaven DLC page for Cult of the Lamb on Steam is already open, and the release is expected in early 2026:
