The September Nintendo Direct may present players with an unexpected set — three major projects related to the number "7." This version was put forward by the insider SwitchForce.
Among the most discussed options is Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which is rumored to be released on Switch 2 in winter. The list of candidates also includes 007: First Light, previously officially announced for the new Nintendo platform.
There was also talk about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The release is scheduled for November 14, 2025, and thanks to the agreement between Microsoft and Nintendo, the series may appear on Switch for the first time.
On the Reddit and X forums, users are building their own versions. Projects such as the Dragon Quest 7 remake, Ace Combat 7, Resident Evil 7 and the expected Ace Attorney 7 appear. Tropico 7, Anno 117: Pax Romana and Disgaea 7 Complete also pop up in the guesses.
Although the Nintendo Direct itself has not yet been officially confirmed, sources claim that the show will take place in mid-September. Then it will become clear whether the rumors about the three "sevens" for Switch 2 will be justified.
