Arcane has once again confirmed its status as one of the most significant animated series of recent years, winning the award for Outstanding Animated Program at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. This is the show's second victory in this category: the series first received the award three years ago for the episode "When These Walls Come Tumbling Down." This time, the finale of the second season, "Dirt Under Your Fingernails," was recognized.
In addition to the main award, Arcane received an Emmy for sound direction, and previously, artist Bruno Couchinho and colorist Faustine Dumontier were recognized in the category of "Best Individual Achievements in Animation" for background design and color design, respectively.
In 2022, Arcane became the first video game series in history to be awarded an Emmy. Now, it has cemented this success by becoming the first animated project to receive the main award both times it has been nominated.
