Anbernic has shared new details about its RG 476H handheld console. In a recent video, the company not only revealed the screen specifications but also demonstrated how the device handles games from different generations.
Anbernic employees continue to gradually introduce gamers to the recently announced RG 476H handheld console. Today, the developers released a video demonstrating gameplay on this device.
In the video, the team played God of War 2, Monster Hunter, Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! METEOR, Wuthering Waves, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Dear or Alive 2, Dolphin Blue, and more.
The video also showcased gameplay with an additional screen in Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Mega Max ZX, the ability to launch modern games via a streaming service (Forza Horizon 5), a system for supporting TV connectivity, and multiplayer matches.
According to Anbernic, the RG 476H will be able to smoothly run projects from Android, PS2, Wii, NGC, 3DS, PSP, DC, SS, PS1, NDS, N64, CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, FBA, NEOGEO, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC, MD, SMS, MSX, PCE, and WSC.
In addition, the developers revealed the screen specifications. The new console will have a 4.7-inch IPS screen (120 Hz, resolution – 1280x960, aspect ratio – 4:3, brightness – 500 nits, contrast ratio – 1200:1).
