Risk of Rain 2 will be revived with a new DLC featuring a robot hero and fresh content

Risk of Rain has been around for six years and continues to receive content updates. It seems Gearbox Software has serious plans for the development of the series.

Risk of Rain 2 was released in 2019 and immediately became one of the most notable roguelikes on the market. The game received excellent reviews, sold in large numbers, and was actively developed. As a result, Gearbox Software acquired the rights to the franchise from Hopoo Games, taking it under its wing.

The fresh add-on Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective will bring new enemies, an expanded set of weapons, and a new Operator character to the game. The robot uses drones, which can seriously change the experience of the game, especially for experienced players.

The add-on will be released soon on all available platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
