According to screenshots currently circulating online, Anbernic may soon unveil a new dual-screen portable console designed for Nintendo DSi fans.
Interesting information has surfaced online regarding Anbernic's next new device, which, of course, should be taken as a rumor or leak for now.
Judging by the screenshot correspondence, Anbernic is planning to announce a portable console designed for emulating games from the Nintendo DS.
The device's design will strongly resemble the Nintendo DSi. The console will feature two custom screens of the same size and offer integer scaling for the DS's native resolution - 256x192.
It is expected that at least the bottom screen will be touch-sensitive, although the type of displays has not yet been disclosed (LCD or OLED). It is possible that this new product from Anbernic will feature a Unisoc T620 chip.
The console will target the budget segment, so it won't have to compete with the expensiveAYN Thor,Ayaneo Pocket DS, andAyaneo Flip 1S DS.
