Lenovo does not hide that the Legion Go 2 will cost more than its competitors, but this is a deliberate step by the company.

Lenovo commented on the cost of the Legion Go 2 portable PC, which starts at $1100 or 1000 euros in Europe. As company Vice President Walker Duerinck explained, the device is aimed at enthusiast gamers who are willing to invest in their own gaming ecosystem.

The Legion Go 2 costs more than its predecessor, partly due to the use of a better processor, OLED display and removable controllers. According to Duerinck, this is not a mass product, but a premium solution for an audience that values flexibility and the ability to customize the configuration for themselves.

Lenovo emphasizes that the enthusiast market, although narrow, is strategically important: it is these users who shape the brand's image and set the technological bar for the entire industry. For those looking for a more affordable alternative, the company is preparing a line of Legion Go S - with simplified characteristics and an emphasis on comfortable operation "out of the box."

Sales of Legion Go 2 will start in October 2025. The device will receive an 8.8-inch OLED screen and will be available in severalmodifications. The basic version of the Legion Go 2 with a Ryzen Z2 chip, 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD will cost $1100. The 32 GB memory modification costs $1200, the Ryzen Z2 Extreme version starts at $1350, and the top configuration with a 2 TB SSD costs $1480.
