According to recent leaks from a well-known insider, the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth remake will appear on Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms in 2026.
In response to a question about Rebirth's performance on Switch 2 on Reddit, insider NateTheHate2 wrote:
Rebirth is coming to Switch 2 and Xbox in 2026, and then players will be able to see how it performs on the platform.
Previously, Square Enix had already confirmed plans to port the updated trilogy to other platforms. The first part, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, will be released on Xbox in the winter of 2025, and the improved Intergrade version will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in the same period.
