Those who didn't think Baby Steps was a strange game before should watch the new trailer.
Baby Steps is one of the most unconventional games in the Devolver Digital catalog. Players control Nate, an unemployed son of wealthy parents who finds himself in a mysterious world. The entire game is built on the slow exploration of territories, where every step is important, and controlling the character is a separate challenge.
The new trailer shows that the developers are not limited to serious themes. In the video, Nate climbs a mountain to slide down a stream of mother's milk. The scene is both strange and comical, and Devolver Digital used it to promote the game.
It seems there will be many such moments. Baby Steps combines absurd humor and unusual gameplay mechanics. Slow exploration combined with grotesque situations could make the game an interesting premiere at the end of September.
Baby Steps will be released on September 23, 2025, on PlayStation 5 and PC.
