Mobilegamer.biz has published August statistics on mobile game downloads based on data from the AppMagic service, excluding the Chinese Android segment.

The leader of the month is once again Roblox, which set a new personal record for the number of installations. Downloads increased by 1.5 million compared to July, and since the viral success of Grow A Garden, the overall growth rate has increased by about a third.

Against the background of the rapid growth of Roblox, other projects look much less stable. Block Blast from Hungry Studio, which peaked in April (42 million downloads), continues to lose audience - August was the fourth consecutive month of decline. Nevertheless, the game still outperforms Subway Surfers, which consistently stays above 17 million installations.

Fourth place was taken by Pizza Ready, which continues to demonstrate rare stability for the genre - almost 15 million downloads. Ludo King also returned to its previous level after a decline at the end of 2024: the game consistently gains 14-15 million installations per month.

In sixth place is My Talking Tom Friends 2 from Outfit7. The project has only been in the top for the second month, but is already competing with veterans. Free Fire and Royal Kingdom are also in the top ten: the first received a boost thanks to a collaboration with Naruto (although the peak was in July), the second - for the first time crossed the mark of 12 million thanks to a large-scale advertising campaign with the participation of celebrities.

A secondary wave of interest also raised Hole.io in the chart: the game grew by four positions and is now maintaining a pace of about 12 million downloads per month. Tile Explorer and Vita Mahjong also remain in the top 20, between which an unspoken struggle for leadership in the "match three" genre is unfolding.

Outside the top 20, there were noticeable movements. Clash Royale from Supercell rose by 47 positions at once, reaching 8.5 million downloads - an impressive increase compared to 6 million in July. Next comes Spider Fighter 3 from Starplay, which improved the result by 1.5 million and rose by 28 lines in the overall ranking.
