Pre-loading for Borderlands 4 starts today, and it turns out the game takes up surprisingly little space on PS5 disks.
The Borderlands series has long been popular for its signature humor, comic book style, and chaotic, action-packed gameplay. It's no surprise that the announcement of Borderlands 4 raised great expectations: players are waiting for new ideas, weapons, and even more crazy adventures.
Game files have become available on PlayStation servers, allowing us to find out the size of the project and the start date of pre-loading. Pre-loading starts today.
The most surprising thing is that Borderlands 4 takes up only 28.1 GB. For comparison, Borderlands 3 on PS5 required 52.9 GB of free space. According to the PlayStationSize account on X, the Borderlands 4 files were immediately released with the latest update, and owners of the disk version will have to download the patch on the day of release.
