In 2026, thanks to Lavka Games publishing house, Russian-speaking users will have the chance to evaluate the tabletop and card autobattler Tag Team, in which all sorts of heroes are constantly fighting each other.
Lavka Games publishing house has announced that it is going to localize the Tag Team tabletop and duel game from Scorpion Masqué, which combines deck-building mechanics and an autobattler inspired by classic arcade fighting games.
In each round, after the preparation process, the protocol is launched and the game starts playing on its own (something similar is present in the Challengers board game). Plus, each turn, participants add one new card to the deck, but without changing the order of playing the others. This allows you to adapt to the opponent's meta and break it.
All the heroes, and there are 10 of them in the project, are asymmetrical, and each character has their own techniques and special moves. Scorpion Masqué employees plan to develop the series, so the roster of fighters should increase in the future.
The game is quite fast, as one game takes 10-20 minutes. In Russia, pre-order for Tag Team, which managed to score 8 points out of 10 on the BGG portal, should open in 2026 (and its release will take place in the same year).
