The fourth season of \"The Witcher\" from Netflix promises not only plot twists and a change of actor in the role of Geralt, but also unexpected \"musical\" surprises.
According to Redanian Intelligence, one of the new season's episodes will begin with the preparation of fish soup — and unexpectedly turn into a musical show with songs and dances.
The inspiration for the episode came from a moment in the book \"Baptism of Fire,\" where Geralt, Dandelion, Milva, Cahir, and Regis take a break and cook soup by the fire. In the series, this fragment has been reworked: almost the entire episode will be devoted to preparing the dish and conversations by the fire, in which the characters share memories. It is in one of Dandelion's flashbacks that the musical number will unfold.
In the musical interlude, Dandelion will appear in his youth — and he will not be alone. Waldo Marx, his sworn rival in the bardic craft, will also appear in the scene. According to the authors of Redanian Intelligence, viewers will finally see the origins of their feud. Moreover, it will not be limited to songs: the characters will perform full-fledged dance numbers, and the episode itself is described as a \"small Witcher-style musical.\"
In addition, flashbacks with young versions of other characters are expected in the same episode. Back last year, Redanian Intelligence reported that Aaron Zickman and Leanne Ho would play young Cahir and Milva — most likely, their past will also be revealed in this series.
Netflix has not yet officially announced the premiere date for the fourth season. However, Redanian Intelligence calls October 30, 2025, the most likely release date.
