A modder with the nickname Naga, took on the Nintendo Switch 2 and solved one of the main problems of the new console - short battery life.
Previously, he had already worked on the first version of the Switch, and now he has done the same with the updated model. In a recent YouTube video, Naga showed how he replaced the standard 5220 mAh battery with a more powerful 8000 mAh one. Although there are no battery life tests in the video, the console itself starts up without any problems, which confirms the modification's functionality.
But the battery is not the only thing that causes dissatisfaction among owners. Many note that the Switch 2 screen looks weaker than the OLED version, and the quality of HDR leaves much to be desired.
Despite the drawbacks, the updated console is still a step forward compared to the original. And the battery example gives hope that in the future, players will be able to spend more time playing games without constantly plugging into a charger.
The video shows the result of the improvement: Cyberpunk 2077 now runs for 3 hours and 25 minutes instead of 2 hours and 18 minutes.
