Silent Hill f is set to release in September and is considered one of the key premieres of the month, but its size turned out to be significantly smaller than many other releases.
The new installment in the series will not be a traditional survival horror in the gloomy fog of the town. This time, the events will take players to 1960s Ebisugao, Japan, where the story of Hinako Shimizu will unfold. The release will take place on September 25, 2025, and for owners of the Digital Deluxe edition — September 23.
To ensure players can prepare for the launch without any issues, the developers at Neobards Entertainment have provided early download. For the standard version, it will open on September 23, and for the Digital Deluxe — as early as the 21st.
The game's size is also noteworthy. Silent Hill f on PlayStation 5 will take up just over 36 GB, which looks compact compared to modern projects. On PC, users will have to free up at least 50 GB.
This difference in size is due to differences in file structure and optimization for console "hardware". For players, this means that the PS5 version will be ready to launch faster, and PC owners should take care of free space in advance.
