The lack of an official date has sparked a wave of speculation. Last week, the PlayStationSize account on X reported that build number 01.010.036 had been spotted on Sony's servers. The community immediately assumed that the update would be released on September 9, a week before the release of the "Claws of Awaji" DLC (September 16). This would give the developers time to make final adjustments.
But September 9 has passed, and players continue to unsuccessfully refresh their consoles and news pages. Threads on Reddit and forums are overflowing with complaints and impatience.
Technically, "early September" is not yet over, but fans are sure that Ubisoft is dragging its feet. Meanwhile, it is this update that should bring key changes, including the ability to freely switch the time of day.
