Limp Bizkit have released their first original track in four years. The single with the provocative title Making Love To Morgan Wallen is part of a partnership with EA and will be included in the official Battlefield 6 soundtrack.
The song was first played earlier this month in a video posted by drummer Kristina Rybalchenko. Fred Durst also appeared in the video, throwing into the camera with displeasure: "This is our new track, it's not out yet!" - hinting at a leak that looked staged from the start.
The full version of Making Love To Morgan Wallen is now available on YouTube and streaming platforms. The track combines signature sarcasm, heavy riffs and an unexpected dedication to Chester Bennington: "Damn, I miss you Chester, sending love from my bass compressor".
This is Limp Bizkit's first release since 2021, when the album Still Sucks was released. The band's music has already been featured in the Battlefield 6 promo campaign - the game's trailer was accompanied by a remix of the classic Break Stuff from 1999.
Battlefield 6 is scheduled for release on October 10. In the coming days, EA will begin closed testing of the "battle royale" mode, which will be one of the key innovations of the shooter.
