While waiting for The Witcher 4, fans are not bored.
Recently, another expansion was released for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, but not from CD Projekt RED. Modder NikitaBurkhan presented the large-scale modification Let There Be Light.
The project used the official developer tools "The Witcher 3 REDkit." He decided not to spoil the surprise and did not reveal the details of the plot.
There is voice acting, and the modder tried to synchronize facial animations with the lines:
«I voiced all the male characters; my girlfriend also participated, whom I involved in the voice acting (female characters), we voiced all the lines with our own voices, and later I changed the voices to the voices of the characters using AI (I chose AI voices for each character from the proposed ones). This was done in order to preserve the emotionality and liveliness of the voice acting, AI was needed to give authenticity to each character in my story».
The Let There Be Light modification for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is distributed free of charge via Nexus Mods. It is considered "adult," so you need to log into your account to download it.
