EA has officially confirmed that EA Sports FC Empires will cease operations on November 30, 2025. In-game purchases have already been disabled, and the game has been removed from Google Play and other mobile markets. Players who have the latest version of the game installed can continue playing until the end of November.
EA Sports FC Empires combined traditional football matches in the style of EA Sports FC Mobile with city-building elements: players built a football complex, completed story missions, developed a club, leveled up, and progressed through the story.
The game was in a "soft launch" state and was only available in certain regions, but full functionality remained unrealized.
