The full version of Hades 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch and PC on September 25, but those wishing to purchase the physical edition will have to wait and pay extra.
Supergiant Games has confirmed that Hades 2 will exit early access on September 25. On this day, the game will be available on PC, as well as on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console and its new version, the Switch 2. However, the physical edition will be released later: its release is scheduled for November 20, and the cost will be $50.
The digital version of the game will cost $30, so the boxed copy will cost significantly more. But buyers of the physical edition will receive a full version of Hades 2 on a cartridge - without the need to download additional data or install updates.
As for performance, on Switch 2, Hades 2 will run at 1080p at 120 frames per second, and in portable mode, at 1080p at 60 fps. On the original Nintendo Switch model, the game will be limited to 720p resolution and 60 frames per second.
In addition, Supergiant has confirmed support for cross-platform saves: PC version owners will be able to transfer their progress from early access to the Nintendo console.
