Gearbox is monitoring community feedback.

After the release of Borderlands 4, negative feedback from dissatisfied players began to appear online. Users are actively complaining about the poor optimization of the looter-shooter.

Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford decided to share complaint (ticket) statistics with customer support. According to him, about 1% of buyers sent requests, with more complaints not about performance, but about receiving rewards for watching streams on Twitch:

«More than half of the tickets (~0.55% of customers) are users reporting problems with their SHiFT accounts (lost email/access, etc.).

The next largest ticket concerns FoV management on the console (we're working on it).

0.055% of customers report problems with Twitch Drops.

In addition, 0.04% of complaints are related to PC performance, with support marking 0.009% as "valid". 0.037% were successfully trained (settings).

That's less than one percent of one percent (0.01%) of customers using support tickets to report legitimate performance issues, which is less than 1/5 of users using support to get help with Twitch Drops.

The reality is drastically different from what you might expect if your only sources of information were, say, certain internet forums».
