One of Pokémon's main competitors is preparing to present the most ambitious installment in the franchise.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger will be released on October 3 and will be the first installment in the Story subseries since the release of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth in 2015. A leak with a complete list of Digimon has fueled interest in the upcoming release.
A list of all Digimon featured in the game has appeared on the Reddit forum, in the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours section. According to the document, the basic version of Time Stranger will include 452 creatures — not counting possible DLC. Previously, representatives of Bandai Namco hinted that the project would be the largest in the history of the series, and now these words are confirmed: there were 250 Digimon in Cyber Sleuth, and 330 in Hacker’s Memory.
The leak contains details on almost every creature, including evolution stages, attributes, and available forms. However, as users note, some familiar characters from past games are missing from the starting roster.
In particular, there is no mention of Sistermon Blanc and Sistermon Noir (including Awakened forms), Hudiemon, all versions of Arkadimon, as well as NX-variants of Digimon such as Omnimon, Crusadermon, Gallantmon, Alphamon and Duftmon.
Nevertheless, the release version of Time Stranger will not be without exclusives. On the day of release, eight additional Digimon will be available to players as part of the DLC — these are alternative forms of Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon and WarGreymon, as well as dark versions of Gabumon and Garurumon with their evolutions.
Thus, the starting roster will consist of 460 creatures — more than in any other game in the series, even without taking into account future updates and additional content. The complete list can be found here.
