Silent Hill f has received an official "M18" age rating in Singapore due to its abundance of violent scenes, bloody imagery, and frightening atmosphere.
The rating is due to the dark visuals and scenes of violence. Players can expect images of corpses, mutilated bodies, and bloodied locations. In battles, enemies will be stabbed, hacked, or dismembered, and walls and floors will be covered in blood. Special attention in the rating is given to scenes of ritual self-torture, including the severing of limbs and the demonstration of gruesome wounds on the face, which enhances the oppressive atmosphere of horror.
In addition, the game contains mild sexual references. In one scene, a character pastes a classmate's face onto an image of a model in a swimsuit from an adult magazine.
Silent Hill f will be available on September 25 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
