CD Projekt RED has a very complicated relationship with the game's lore, but now one reason for disputes has been removed.
In Cyberpunk 2077, there was confusion with the biography of the main character, V. There are male and female versions: initially, they had different birthdays, and therefore, after the finale, the age differed (28 and 27, respectively). Subsequently, the dates were equalized, and the characters became 23 years old.
Now the age has changed again (it seems for the last time). Patrick K. Mills, quest designer for Cyberpunk 2077 and the new head of the lore department, stated on social media:
«I don’t care what anyone else says, V is 27, not 22 or whatever. Also, male and female V have the same birthday — it was just an error that they were ever different. LORE MASTER HAS SPOKEN. Go forth and update the wiki».
