According to the description of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade in the eShop, people will have to free up at least 93.8 gigabytes on the Switch 2 storage device to install the game. For comparison, the PC version requires 94.24 gigabytes, while the largest game for Switch 2 currently is WWE 2K25, which takes up 72.5 gigabytes.
Given that the key cards for Switch 2 hold about 64 gigabytes, owners of the physical edition will still have to connect to the network to download some of the data.
The release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on Switch 2 will take place on January 22, 2026.
