Paradox Interactive has released update 1.17.1 for Crusader Kings 3. The patch aims to address issues related to coronations and the recent Ascendant update.
The update focuses on fixing bugs affecting oaths, coronation events, and player notifications. Character memories have been improved, event texts have been corrected, and issues with artificial intelligence have been resolved.
In addition to the fixes, the update adds a new coronation event allowing the host to use the chancellor to weaken a neighboring confederation or gain a new vassal/tributary. Zealous characters have also become easier to convert to witchcraft if their faith allows it.
