A resident of Leeds has launched a petition to strengthen road safety measures in Armley.
A Leeds resident, 44-year-old Emma Graves, has launched a petition calling for increased traffic control measures on Thornhill Road in Armley after a car being chased by police crashed into her house. Ironically, the incident occurred while Emma was playing Grand Theft Auto 5, in which she was running away from the police.
You couldn't make it up. It wasn't funny at the time, but it became funny afterwards.
The incident frightened Emma, and she decided to seek changes to the road, which she considers "dangerous" because it is often used as a shortcut between Upper Wortley Road and Tong Road.
