Dragami Games has announced that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2. Fans of crazy action-adventure games have another reason to look forward to the release.
The premiere is scheduled for November, but the exact date has not yet been announced.
The Switch 2 version will receive significant improvements: increased resolution, more stable frame rate, improved textures, slightly redesigned character models, and updated graphics in general. This is an important step, because of all the platforms, the first version of the Switch looked the weakest.
Owners of the first console model will also be able to upgrade. A special Upgrade Pass is being prepared for them, but it is not yet known whether it will be free or paid.
The first showing of the Switch 2 version will take place at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, which will be held from September 25 to 28. There, visitors will have access to a demo and will be given an exclusive souvenir — a transparent folder.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP was released on September 12, 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC. The game has sold over 300,000 copies.
