In anticipation of the release of Metroid Prime 4 and Kirby Air Riders, PowerA has introduced limited edition gamepads, positioned as an alternative to the Pro Controller.
PowerA has released new wireless gamepads styled after Metroid and Kirby. The devices are already available on foreign marketplaces and are compatible with both the original Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
The PowerA Enhanced Wireless controllers offer features familiar to users of the standard Pro Controller: remappable rear buttons, gyroscope, up to 30 hours of battery life, and Bluetooth support. A 3-meter USB-C cable is included. However, like most third-party solutions, the gamepads do not have a "C" button, HD rumble, NFC for Amiibo, and do not support waking the Switch 2 from sleep mode.

The Kirby model features a pink design with a collage of characters, including Kirby, Waddle Dee, Dedede, and Meta Knight.
The cost of each controller is $70. The new items are not yet available in Russian online stores.
