It seems that Nihon Falcom is preparing a new remake of the classic turn-based Japanese role-playing game — The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC.
Rumors have intensified on the eve of the release of the updated first part, "Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter," which is scheduled for release on September 19, 2025.
Players who managed to complete the version before release report that there is a hint of a sequel in the post-credits scene. This episode, although related to spoilers, clearly indicates the preparation of a remake of the second part. There were rumors about the project before, but now we can talk about almost direct confirmation.
The original "Trails in the Sky SC" was released in 2006 on PC, later appeared on PSP, and in 2015 became available in English localization. The game also made it to PS3 and PS Vita.
Players speculate that the official announcement of the remake for PlayStation 5 will take place very soon — at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 event, which begins on September 25.
