Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is gearing up for release on September 25th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. But even before its release, a new character has been revealed.
According to VideoGamesChronicle, a Reddit user with the nickname Wrong-Minute-1319 obtained an early physical copy of the game and discovered that Mega Man will be part of the DLC racers.
The published image lists all the franchises participating in the crossover. In addition to the already known Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Avatar: Legends, and Pac-Man, Mega Man has also joined. It is likely that the main character will be the hero of the series himself, but the appearance of other familiar figures such as Tempo, Beat, Dr. Wily, or Protoman is also possible.
The Sonic Stadium website confirmed the information: the game's packaging hints at the return of a long-standing Sega character — Nights.
At launch, the game will offer 24 tracks, 15 CrossWorlds, an extensive list of characters, and 45 types of vehicles. In races, you can use 23 items for an advantage, as well as modify cars with 70 gadgets.
