Modern technologies are actively used in development, but sometimes creators may act without proper permission.
It recently became known that the French voice actress of Lara Croft from Tomb Raider has filed a complaint against Aspyr studio for using AI to generate the heroine's voice in the remastered collection.
Aspyr responded and released an update for Tomb Raider 4-5-6 Remastered:
«Released a hotfix for our latest patch aimed at removing unauthorized AI-generated content.
We addressed this issue by removing all AI voice-over while retaining the improvements made in the previous update.
