Aspyr Disrespects Players by Using AI-Generated Voice for Heroine in Tomb Raider IV-VI Collection, Says Voice Actress

French actress Françoise Cadol has already sent a claim to the studio.

Voice actress Françoise Cadol, who voiced Lara Croft in French in the old Tomb Raider games, as well as in films starring Angelina Jolie, accuses Aspyr Media of stealing her voice.

The woman has already sent a complaint to Aspyr, in which she noted that the studio used AI to generate Lara Croft's voice in the Tomb Raider IV-VI collection, thereby showing disrespect to the gaming community. It is important to note that players noticed the oddities in Lara's voice even without Cadol.

The artist demands that Aspyr stop selling Tomb Raider IV-VI until the incident is resolved.
