Cosmetic items purchased for money will remain in Warzone 2.0.
According to reliable insider TheGhostOfHope, who covers shooters and the Call of Duty series in particular, Activision intends to completely relaunch Warzone with the release of Modern Warfare 4. This means that all cosmetic items purchased for Warzone 2.0 will remain in Warzone 2.0. It is assumed that this is due to the updated engine on which the new shooter will run, and the developers do not have the time or instructions to optimize old content for new technologies.
If the rumor is confirmed, this will be the second relaunch for Warzone. The first time the battle royale was relaunched was after the release of Modern Warfare 2 in 2022. Back then, players also lost all of their previously purchased content.
