Writer Stephen King has highly praised the series \"Alien: Earth,\" created by Noah Hawley for FX. On social media, the \"king of horror\" noted the visual effects, dialogues, and critique of corporate power, hinting that this project may have become his favorite within the franchise.

\"I think 'Alien: Earth' is my fave (or 'my favorite' — note). The special effects are amazing (not to mention disgusting), and the dialogues are witty. But the real monsters here are the five corporations that have divided the planet between themselves.\"

As SlashFilm notes, Stephen King appears to be part of the project's key audience. According to Samba TV data, the share of viewers aged 65–74 is approximately 8% higher than other age groups. This may be due to the fact that baby boomers were the main audience back when the first film in the franchise was released in 1979.

Currently, seven episodes of \"Alien: Earth\" have been released. The final episode of the first season will be released on September 23.
