According to Deadline, Tom Holland was injured while performing a stunt on set in Glasgow — he hit his head in a fall and was taken to hospital with a mild concussion.

According to eyewitnesses, the 29-year-old actor was quickly hospitalized, after which he received the necessary medical attention and was discharged. Later, information emerged that a woman, presumably a stunt performer, who was also injured during filming, was also admitted to the clinic on the same day.

In response to the incident, Sony Pictures suspended the filming process and scheduled an emergency meeting. It is scheduled for September 22. Following the meeting, it is planned to adjust the production schedule.

The studio has not yet specified whether the incident will affect the release date. The premiere of the film "A Brand New Day" is scheduled for July 31, 2026. However, as The Direct notes, even before the incident, the project faced production difficulties and was behind schedule, so even a short delay could affect the timing.

According to Collider, citing British media, the injury is not serious. It is noted that Holland, along with Zendaya, attended a charity dinner in Mayfair, which he left due to feeling unwell. His father, comedian Dominic Holland, confirmed that the actor will not be involved in filming in the near future.
