Filming of "Spider-Man: A Brand New Day" has been temporarily suspended following an incident with Tom Holland. The actor, who plays Peter Parker, suffered a mild concussion while performing a stunt at Pinewood Studios near London.
According to Variety and Deadline, the accident occurred on September 19 when the actor was performing a stunt without a stunt double. After the fall, Holland was taken to the hospital, where he underwent examination. Hospitalization was not required: doctors diagnosed a mild concussion and recommended rest.
After a meeting of producers, filming was frozen for a week. Holland will return to the set on September 29. Sony clarified that the pause will not affect the release date: the film is still scheduled to premiere on July 31, 2026.
