In honor of the tenth anniversary of Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima presented a new animated project based on Death Stranding.
At an online broadcast dedicated to the anniversary of Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima announced the animated film Death Stranding Mosquito, which is being created by ABC Animation studio.
Kojima himself is the producer, Hiroshi Miyamoto has been appointed as the director, and Aaron Guzikowski, known for the series "Raised by Wolves" and the film "Papillon", wrote the script.
The project will tell an independent story with a new main character, whom we see in the first trailer. He fights a character resembling Sam Bridges. A distinctive feature of the hero is a tar mask, for which he was probably nicknamed "mosquito".
It should be noted that Mosquito is still a working title. The film does not have an approved distribution name or release date, and it is also unclear whether it will be a full-length film or an animated series.
