Director Dan Trachtenberg of 'Predator: Bad Blood' has officially denied rumors of xenomorphs appearing in the new installment of the franchise. According to him, the upcoming film is not related to the plots of 'Alien', despite the presence of the "Weyland-Yutani" corporation — a corporation from the 'Alien' franchise universe.

In an interview with Empire, the director confirmed that xenomorphs will not appear in the film, and hinted that there are other reasons for the appearance of "Weyland-Yutani".

"There is no Xenomorph in this movie. But, to me, that’s what makes it exciting. We’re not doing [the 'Alien' franchise] just to mash toys together. There is a very thoughtful, logical reason why Weyland-Yutani is in this movie."

Rumors of a crossover flared up after viewers noticed the "Weyland-Yutani" logo in the trailer. An additional reason was the information that the main character, Tiya, played by Elle Fanning, is a synthetic created by the corporation. This made many fans expect the appearance of xenomorphs.

According to the official synopsis, the film takes place in the future on a remote planet. The story centers on a young Predator, exiled from his clan, who finds an unexpected ally in Tiya and embarks on a dangerous journey to face the main enemy.

The role of the young Predator and Tiya's companion named Dek is played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi.

The premiere of 'Predator: Bad Blood' will take place on November 7, 2025, in theaters.
